I was thinking of basically running 2 instances of wow on my computer and having one character on "follow", but then realized that it might be a bit more fun to figure out how to multi-box them together.

My point just was you don't need to have one of those other softwares running in order to run 2 instances of wow. So my steps in getting my multiboxing up and running were: 1) buy another account. 2) get 2 instances of wow running on my computer at the same time. 3) run softare to duplicate keystrokes, add addons etc.

Despite being run on the same computer, all game clients are communicating via a network. So a good internet connection is important. Also, go to WoW client "Settings -> Network" and try to enable "Optimize speed" and "IPv6". This may faster game response.

Multiboxing is only allowed because there is no reliable way for Blizzard to find , If your complaint is that they're playing on more than one compu 1 Feb 2016 okey :) i know you could do it on wow (atleast on a private server without getting having another computer next to you is not multiboxing.

2GB vram per game for DX12. To multibox all you really need is a program that will clone your key strokes to multiple instances of wow and to purchase multiple copies. I used to use Keyclone. If you want to clone your mouse as well you can use Mouseclone, though I don't recommend it.
